Renovation of Education Center

Starting in July, the self-study area will be under maintenance. The self-study spots, the Education Service Desk, and the printers will be relocated. 

Update September 23 
Over the past month, the scaffolding for the ceiling repair work has been built. Wondering how this went? Check out this videofor a timelapse of the scaffolding construction.

Starting Monday, Sept. 23, a new phase of the renovation will begin. Compared to past months, there will be more noise pollution. The old ceiling finish is glued to the substrate and must be removed by machine. This will result in considerable noise pollution for about 4 weeks.

Renovation 
The Education Center will be renovated from July 2024 until the second quarter of 2025. The damage caused by the fire, which took place in September 2023, will be repaired during that time.  

For this reason, the self-study spots, the Education Service Desk, and the printing area have been relocated. 

The education rooms, the walking route to building Ce on the second floor, 't Vat, chesterfield couches, the Terrace and the Foyer will remain accessible.   

Self-Study Spots 
Do you want to study in the Education Center (self-study spots)? On MyTimetable, under the course code 'selfstudy room', you can see which rooms are reserved as self-study spots each day. 

Printing 
Do you want to print? You can find the printers between the espressobar and 't Vat. 

Service Desk 
Do you have general questions about the Education Center or other educational logistics matters? The Service desk and service staff can be found at the entrance of the Education Center. 

Disturbance 
We are doing everything we can to minimize disturbance from the renovation, but it won't always be avoidable. We will minimize the work during planned exams.
