External course with exceptional conditions

ONWAR Program

As an Erasmus MC PhD candidate, you are allowed to participate in the ONWAR program and follow their courses*. For information about registration for the program and courses, please visit the ONWAR website.
Erasmus MC PhD candidates who participate in the full 4-year ONWAR program have to obtain at least 14.42 EC to complete the program.
You can find the ONWAR Training- and Supervision Plan on the website, which you have to fill out in order to register yourself.
As soon as you are an ONWAR member (by following the full trajectory), you can follow the courses for free.

*Please note: Erasmus MC Graduate School will only reimburse in the following 2 cases:

A. The ONWAR Membership is only reimbursed if the PhD candidate participates in:

the introductory meeting;
the retreat every year;
courses, which summed up have a total of at least 2 EC. Obtaining more EC points by following more courses is always allowed! The courses are covered by your membership.

Please note: The ONWAR Membership is a trajectory up to 4 years. An extension of the trajectory after 4 years in case of non-completion is not possible and will not be reimbursed by the Graduate School.

B. Participation in a course without membership is only reimbursed (during the entire PhD trajectory) if:

you follow courses which summed up have a maximum total of 3 EC points. Do you want to follow more courses on top of the 3 EC during your PhD trajectory? Then the costs of the courses are for your own account.

Please note! Any cancellation policy that applies for not attending courses/events for which you are registered, are for your own account!
