Erasmus MC Graduate School courses are offered via the EUR course catalogue. More information about a course can be found by clicking on the name of the course under the course description. In order to register for a course, a valid student ERNAaccount is needed. It is not possible to register with an Erasmus MC work account. A student ERNA account can be created when enrolling for a course for the first time, as shown in the picture below.
Please read how to reactivate an old ERNA account that has been deactivated below. Please do not create a new ERNA ID if you already have one!
Please note the following:
Academic year and course dates.
Erasmus MC Graduate School works with an academic calendarthat run from August until July. (e.g., when acourse starts in May 2023, it belongs to the academic year ‘2022’). Course dates will be either mentioned in the course description or be available in the course description via a link. The dates mentioned under ‘enrolment period’ only refer to the Academic year itself and not the course dates.
Re-activate student ERNA account
If you have an old ERNA account or if your current ERNA account has been deactivated, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to reactivate your account.
Please also note that a PhD candidate is not registered as a full-time student. For this reason, we cannot extend the ERNA account for longer a period of time and why the ERNA account must be reactivated every 3-6 months. We understand that this is frustrating and we are looking for a solution to solve this. We kindly ask that you follow the abovementioned steps. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Problems logging in:
You cannot log in to OSIRIS or other EUR educational systems (Education Catalogue, OSIRIS, Academy Attendance, Canvas, etc.) with your Erasmus MC credentials. You must use your EUR student ERNA ID. You should then choose "Erasmus University Rotterdam" through SurfConextand use your student ERNA ID (e.g., email@example.com) and password.

Course confirmation and course information
The ERNA account also includes a student e-mail address. which will be used to inform about course related issues. The student e-mail can be accessed through OSIRIS, and directly through the link: https://outlook.office.com/mail/inbox (Login using the ERNA account). Please note that all essential information regarding subscribed course will be sent to this e-mail address. It is therefore important to check this e-mail address regularly.
Forwarding student mails
To not miss any essential information regarding subscribed courses, we advise to forward the e-mails send to the student ERNA account.
Unable to access Canvas course page
The Canvas course page will be locked/unable to access until it has been published. We aim to publish the Canvas course page two weeks prior to the start of the course. An invitation and message to join the page will be sent to the student ERNA email address. If you have not received an invitation two weeks before for the start of the course, please contact email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org, depending on the course you are following.
Note to EMC employees:When you have previously logged into Canvas on your device with your Erasmus MC account, it automatically takes those credentials the next time you log in. We advise you to use an incognito tab in Google Chrome in order to log in with your ERNA account to view the course specifics.
Editing account information ERNAID/Canvas
To adjust personal details of the student ERNA account in OSIRIS or Canvas, like name, contact: email@example.com. You will have to provide them with a copy of your ID so that they can make the adjustments. Please cover any personal details that you do not wish to share.
