Application & Admission

Application procedure

The basic application procedure is as follows:

  1. Before you apply, please check whether you fit the admission criteria first (please see 'Eligibility and procedures' below for more specific information).
  2. If you think you are eligible for your master’s programme of your choice, you can prepare all the required documents and file an application via Studielink
  3. Within two days after filling out the Studielink form, you will receive a number of emails, one of which contains instructions regarding the follow-up application process with a link to the institutional application form.
  4. If you have not received an email with further instructions after 48 hours, please contact graduateschool@erasmusmc.nl.

Application assessment

All complete applications that reach us before the deadline will be carefully assessed by an Admissions Committee. Within six weeks after the confirmation of receipt, all applicants will be informed about the outcome of the assessment with an official letter of admission or rejection.

If you are applying for the Research Master in Infection & Immunity, Molecular Medicine, Neuroscience or Genomics in Society, you might receive an invitation for an online interview, in which you will discuss your qualifications with members of the admissions committee.

For information on the assessment of your application, please refer to the Teaching and Examination Regulations (TER).

Upon admission

Once the Admissions Committee decides to admit you to the programme of your choice, you will receive a letter of admission from the Programme Coordinator. This e-mail provides you with more details on the enrollment process and other practical matters.

Please note that it is not necessary to accept or decline the offer. Should you decide to discontinue your application, please withdraw your application in Studielink and send an e-mail to graduateschool@erasmusmc.nl.
