Before applying via Studielink consult the chart below and look under the heading “previous degree” to make sure whether you are in fact eligible to apply for the Research Master of your choice. For a more detailed overview please consult the Teaching and Examination Regulations. If this is the case you can file an application via Studielink.


Additional information

Once you have filed an application via Studielink you will receive an invitation via e-mail to fill in additional questions and  to provide additional information. This to prove you meet the admission requirements. For an overview of all additional documents consult the chart above. Admission

The additional information will be assessed and dependable on the content of the documents you provide, you might be admitted to the program or not. If you are admitted an offer will be sent to you. After accepting the offer your application is completed. Make sure you accept the offer before the stated deadlines.

For foreign applicants a copy of a recent TOEFL test (Test Of English as a Foreign Language) with minimal score: 550 paper based or 213 for computer based test; or, as an alternative: IELTS test (International English Language Testing System) with minimal score: 6.


On the basis of yourapplication we mayinvite you fora(Skype) interview. Your English skills will also be tested during this interview.

Health Sciences

BSc or a relevant Master’s degree (for MSc Health Sciences 70 EC is a Master’s degree a prerequisite) from a discipline related to clinical medicine or public health (health sciences, nutrition, biology, pharmacy, psychology, environmental sciences, social sciences, economics, etc.)

Clinical Research
You have a BSc from a school of medicine or biomedical sciences.

Scans, if relevant, of the test score of an official English proficiency test, either: an IELTS test score or a TOEFL test score (TOEFL Institutional Code: 8462).

The minimum IELTS score is 6.5 (minimum score subsection: 6.0). The minimum TOEFL scores are:

575 for the paper based test (minimum score subsection: 57);

232 for the computer based test (minimum score subsection: 23);

90 for the internet based test (minimum score subsection: 22).


If relevant, a scan of your EEA residence permit.
