Welcome!
Great that you want to register with the Erasmus MC Academy. Please read the steps below carefully so you know exactly what to expect. Would you like more information about the programs first? Visit the Erasmus MC Academy website. Want to know when your program starts? The item 'Start dates' provides an overview of all available start moments.
Step 1: Gather your information
When registering, you will need the following:
Need more time to gather your information? No problem! You can save your registration and continue later.
Example of approval statements
Here you can find an example of the approval statement for students not employed by Erasmus MC.
Please note: the content in this example contains fictional data. Always confirm what needs to be filled in with your supervisor or budget holder.
Step 2: Do you have an ERNA account?
Before registering, it's important to know whether you already have an ERNA account (student account). With this account, you can log into OSIRIS, the student information system. You already have an ERNA account if you previously registered for a program at the Erasmus MC Academy or Erasmus University. This account is created once and is permanently linked to you. Keep this information safe. Note: if you do not register or have completed your program, your ERNA account will automatically be deactivated after two months.
Do you have:
Step 3: Do you need to register with CZO?
Is your institution CZO-accredited for your program? In that case, register through the CZO registration page no later than two weeks before the start of your program/core learning route/EPA.
Important: It is not allowed to register with the CZO more than six weeks after the start of your program/core learning route/EPA. The CZO will not issue a diploma or certificate if you register too late. Read this page carefully so that you are aware of the procedure. Registrations submitted earlier than two months before or later than six weeks after the start of the program will be cancelled and cannot be processed.
Not following a CZO-accredited program? Then you do not need to register with the CZO. Still, double-check with your institution whether they have CZO accreditation for your intended program/learning route.
Step 4: Registration instructions
Register no later than two months before the program starts. Are you late? Then you may not receive the required information in time.
Note: on the first page, click the flag in the top left corner to change the language to Dutch. This makes it easier to find answers (e.g., birthplace 'Netherlands'). On the second page, under ‘Application for’, you can choose between two options:
Only select 'contract education', option 2, if you received an invitation to do so. For all other registrations, choose option 1.
After registering, read the page ‘Important information after registration’ to learn about the next steps. Use the buttons below to access the registration module.
