Start by watching this short video. The Student Wellbeing Programme exists to create opportunities for all students to enhance their personal development and stimulate their wellbeing. Learning How to Study
During your medical studies, learning may not come as easily as you are used to. On the Study Guidance Canvas page, you will find advice that may be helpful to you. If this advice is not sufficient and you would like personal guidance, please make an appointment with one of the study advisors.

Textaid by Readspeaker
Textaid by Readspeaker is now available in Canvas. You can find this option under the play button in the black bar on the left-hand side of Canvas.
It is also possible to request an account for home study. This allows you to read long texts (for example in CIS or pdf) at home with the help of text-to-speech software. If you would like to use this option, you can request an account by emailing: smf@eur.nl.

Top Sports Status
If you compete in sports at a high level alongside your studies, you may be eligible for a Top Sports Status. Applications are processed through the Erasmus Top Sport Office. If you have Top Sports Status and are in need of personal guidance, please make an appointment with the study advisor. More information about top sports facilities can be found on the pages Studying and Top Sports and Erasmus Top Sport.

Top Sports and Clinical Rotations
Would you like to explore the possibilities for a tailored clinical rotation schedule due to top sports commitments? Make sure you contact the study advisor no later than 6 months before the lottery for the planning of your clinical rotation programme. See also the Regulation on Allocation of Entry Dates for Clinical Rotations.

Inappropriate Behaviour
Undesirable behaviour (inappropriate conduct) can take many forms: bullying, sexual harassment, intimidation, discrimination. It is not always easy to determine when behaviour is undesirable. What feels offensive to one person may be seen as a joke by another. The boundaries can sometimes be vague, but the possible consequences can be severe. That is why it is important for all of us – students, lecturers, and staff – to remain aware and to speak up in time if inappropriate behaviour occurs or appears to occur.
As a student, there are several places you can turn to.

Safe@EUR
Do you feel unsafe, or are you concerned about someone else? The staff at Safe@EUR are here to help. You stay in control and remain in charge of your report. If you need support, they know who to refer you to, either within EUR or outside. They can give advice, guide you in taking the first step (if you wish), and keep track of whether the chosen approach fits your needs. For contact details, go to this page.

Confidential Counsellors and Ombudsman
You can contact a confidential counsellor if something occurs during your studies or work that makes you feel uncomfortable. Sometimes discussing the situation is enough, but in other cases, you may jointly decide that further action is needed. Together, you and the confidential counsellor will look at the options.
Read more about confidential counsellors and find their contact details on this page.
It is also possible to contact the ombudsman of Erasmus MC. This is an impartial person. The ombudsman can help find solutions but may also conduct an independent investigation. Conversations with the confidential counsellor and the ombudsman are always confidential. The ombudsman can be reached via ombudsman@erasmusmc.nl.
You can read more about inappropriate behaviour here.

Reporting Inappropriate Behaviour  App #wouldisay something
The app #zouikwatzeggen is available to every staff member and student at Erasmus MC. Through the app, you can raise concerns and report inappropriate behaviour to the confidential counsellors or the ombudsman of Erasmus MC.
Download the app now: for Android or Apple. Read more on this page.
