Pre-graduation check
When preparing to graduate, it is essential to verify that all results are listed in your academic progress overview (SVO). This item explains how to do so. Missing results? Contact the responsible course staff immediately. For deadlines and result processing, see: Master’s degree and graduation.
Expired results
An asterisk (*) next to a result in your SVO means it has expired. Submit a written extension request to the Examination Board immediately. See the item: Examination Board.
Cum laude
If you meet certain conditions, you may graduate cum laude. These are specified in the Examination Board’s Rules and Guidelines. More info is available in the OER and the item: Examination Board.
179 credits
Once your final result is submitted and recorded, you must have obtained 179 EC for the core curriculum. You can calculate this in advance by adding the EC still to be earned to the EC listed under ‘EC points’ on page 1 of your SVO. You must reach 179 EC.
