Registration, attendance and evaluation

Programme: Research Master in Health Sciences

Registration

Registration for the Health Sciences Winter-Spring electives opens November 1 for Health Sciences and Clinical Research students and December 1 for other participants (including external PhD candidates and students from other relevant research master's programmes). Registration for the Erasmus Summer Programme elective courses opens in the spring.

Course registration typically closes two weeks before the start of the course.

Please note that every course has a maximum number of participants, which cannot be exceeded. When a course is fully booked it is no longer possible to register for the course unless another participant withdraws from the course before the registration period closes. There is no waiting list.

Two weeks before the start of the course, the Canvas page of the course will be published. On the Canvas page, you are able to find up-to-date course information such as the schedule, the assignments, and practical details.

Cancellation

Should you want to cancel your registration for a course, please e-mail the Educational Service Centre (graduateschool@erasmusmc.nl) before the start of the course and include your student number.

Please note that there is a cancellation policy for PhD students and external participants.

Attendance

Attendance may be compulsory for certain courses. Specific information on attendance requirements can be found on the course page on Canvas as well as the course page on the website. When attendance is compulsory, students register their attendance digitally through Academy Attendance on all course days.

Evaluation

In order to receive course credits, you are required to fill out an evaluation form. At the end of each course, you receive an e-mail with a link to the digital evaluation form on EvaSys. The form should be completed within three weeks. If you fail to submit the evaluation form within three weeks, please send an e-mail to graduateschool@erasmusmc.nl.

Please note that the evaluation is a requirement to be able to pass the course.
